Summer High School
All classes will be held at O'Connor High School.

Northside Summer High School provides classes that will offer secondary students the opportunity for remediation in areas of weakness and to repeat courses which they have failed so that they may advance to the next grade level of sequential course in the fall. Summer High School also provides classes that will offer high school students the opportunity to enrich their educational experience by taking courses during the summer, allowing them to take more advanced courses during the regular school year.
Registration
Pre-registration will be available to all NISD high school and incoming 8th and 9th grade students. The pre-registration will be conducted at the student's home campus on April 7 thru May 23, 2008. Students should report to their counselor on the designated dates to participate in pre-registration. Class assignments will be completed prior to the summer school session. We strongly urge students to take advantage of this procedure. This will assure them a class assignment, no waiting in lines, etc.
Regular registration will be conducted in alphabetical order according to name, on the following schedule:
June 11, 2008 - Northside Residents or Students Only
8:30 am - 10:00 am -- Seniors for 2008-09
10:00 - 11:00 am -- A - F
11:00 am - 12:00 pm -- G - L
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm -- M - S
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm -- T - Z
June 13, 2008 - Students from outside NISD
8:30 am - 11:30 am -- All students will register in the morning

All grade classification is based on the student's standing for the 2007-08 school year.
Students not present at the designated time will register on June 17th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Students may register late at this time without penalty; however, availability of classes is not guaranteed and long waiting lines can be expected.

Non-northside students and parents are responsible for communicating grades to their home campus so that credits can be awarded.
