For the third consecutive year, the Clark High School Chronicle newspaper staff is a recipient of a Crown award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association from Columbia University in New York City. A total of 1,882 newspapers, magazines, and yearbooks published during the 2006-2007 academic year were eligible in the 2008 Crown Awards program. The grand total of all Crowns to be presented in 2008 consists of 32 magazines, 47 newspapers and 50 yearbooks. Crown Award finalists are guaranteed to receive either a Gold or Silver Crown Award in March 2008.
