Sponsored by the New Jersey Writing Project in Texas, this statewide competition recognizes outstanding student writers of prose and poetry at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Student work is published in R & E Journal, and students and their families are honored at a reception at the NJWPT Trainers' and Teachers' Annual Conference. NISD honorees include:
