Risk Management operations are staffed by Executive Director, Cecil Tatum; Risk Management Coordinator, Debby Glass; Risk Management Advisor, Raquel Garza; Claims Specialist, Carol Sauceda; and a Safety Specialist. Operational support is provided by Yvonne Carter.

The mission of Risk Management is to exemplify outstanding customer service while carrying out the process of identifying, measuring and addressing property, liability and human factor loss exposures.

Objectives include: * Assuring NISD assets - employees, students and property are appropriately protected * Identifying situations that may create liability and financial burden upon the District * Implementing procedures which minimize and/or avoid loss exposures * Acting as a resource and service center for all NISD employees
