Professional Positions

Many of these positions require a degree and certification/licensure, but a few specific professional positions may not require such credentials. Positions include: Teachers, Campus Administrators, Social Workers, Administrative Support (Business, Technology, Directors, etc.)

All posted positions require an application on file, a Letter of Intent form, and a resume.
If a position is no longer listed on the website, it may have been filled, placed on hold, or is no longer available. The list of current positions is updated daily.

NISD only accepts university sponsored internships if the applicant holds at least a bachelor's degree, has completed all requirements except student teaching, and has successfully completed the subject area TEXES exams for the targeted teaching area. The internship must be in one of the following areas: Special Education (EC-12), Bilingual Generalist EC-4, Bilingual Generalist 4-8, Math 4-8, Math (8-12), Science 4-8, Science (8-12), Computer Science 8-12, Technology Education (6-12), 4-8 Generalist (Grades 4 and 5 only).
