Classified/Auxiliary Positions

These are examples of Classified/Auxiliary jobs:
Instructional Assistant, Secretarial/Clerical, Technical, LVN, Health Aides, Custodial, Food Service, Bus Driver and Bus Assistant, Police, Dispatcher, and Maintenance (Appliance, Carpentry, Electrical, Electronic, Glazing, HVAC, Painting, Plumbing, Welding, Grass and Landscaping).

These positions have requirements that vary based on job duties. The requirements may include, but are not limited to work experience, high school diploma or GED, license, certification, and/or degree. Some positions are entry level jobs that do not require education or experience.
Note: The No Child Left Behind Act requires that instructional assistants hired to work in Title I schools must have at least two years of college or an associates degree or higher.
