You are obligated to follow specific rules and a code of ethical conduct
when using the  Northside
ISD network and the Internet at school. It should come as no surprise that
the Internet contains material that is not appropriate for the K-12 school
environment. Some material accessible via the Internet may contain content
that is illegal, inaccurate, or potentially offensive to some people. You
must become responsible consumers of Web-based information, just as you
are with other types of resources. The Internet offers tremendous learning
opportunities for you, but it is important that you first clearly understand
such issues as netiquette, security, copyright, and acceptable use of network
technologies.
